Gilcrease Orchard in Las Vegas
About Gilcrease Orchard
Gilcrease Orchard began in 1920 when the family purchased 900 acres of crops and livestock in the Las Vegas Valley. Life was not easy for the family, but Elda and her two sons continued to serve the local area, eventually growing to more than 1,500 acres. Eventually, the family had to sell most of the land. However, to carry on the family legacy, the brothers founded the Gilcrease Orchard Foundation. The current 60-acre lot is left over, and they built the orchard with the idea that families could bring their kids and enjoy the life brothers grew up with.
Year-round, they open their orchards to the public so you can take photos and pick your own produce.
